His senior disciple orders him to bring 100 Hua Yu herbs (Medicinal herbs used for cultivation).
After failing once, Ye Yun goes again to the Demon Beast valley. Just when he spots the Hua yu herbs, A level three Demon Beast, Ice Snake attacks him. Not just one but two ice snakes appear before him. Seeing certain death situations, Ye Yun begins to dig his own grave. (That's what we call knowing yourself)
When he was about to die... A Shining light pours down through the sky and falls on Ye Yun's forehead.
Ye Yun opens his eyes and sees an army and A Couple. They were standing still. A mysterious black-white ball comes floating towards him and Ye Yun touches it.
Ye Yun is back to his place... He sees the snakes are killed. Ye Yun can feel an immense power up. He thinks the Gods have shown their mercy and gave him a new power.
Ye Yun goes back to the Sky sword sect and ends up defeating the senior disciple. He can even absorb a cultivation crystal in just seconds which would take about 2 days for him. Ye Yun was certain that his cultivation and strength has increased.
He saves Shen Mo.
Ye decides to become an Outer disciple and go for the examination of Tian Jian Sect, a prestigious and powerful sect to attain immortal realm.
The sect is located at the Tian Zhu Peak. Shen Mo decides to follow Ye Yun.
The Examination had 4 rounds and the first one was the Yanling Bird test. The Bird can show the potential of one's cultivation and gives off colours. The Royal Bloods of clans and sects show their power with high-grade colours. When it was the turn of Ye Yun, The bird shows the colour of Azure Purple, which is considered as passing colour. But, for Shen Mo it was different.
When Shen Mo tries to pour his cultivation into the Yanling bird, The bird gets shocked and falls unconscious.
The Four Elder watching it gets into shock too.
In the history of the Tian Jain sect, never have they seen such cultivation. Hence, They decide to pass Shen Mo in all tests.
Ye Yun goes go forward and completes all remaining rounds using his own strength. He even helps others to complete the test and makes many new friends. He gets chosen as a disciple.

The Story is very fast-paced and time flows like water in this manhwa. The story is not so compelling but it does have a certain uniqueness.
The animation and art are the same as Chinese comics. I am not a big fan of it... Because it has very small text and the real action and fun are covered in small spaces. You will find some ecchi scenes as well as some slice life genres.
You know the beauties in marital manhwas. But, The Art style is not too bad to be ignored.
With about 200+ chapters, The Mythical Realm is certainly a good manhwa to read. The adventure of becoming the strongest and defying the heavens.
