Just when the submarine arrives at the sea to take the 21 soldiers back to their country, A Soldier from the Submarine Starts shooting at them. They weren't able to get anywhere in the sea and were killed by their own country. However, Injured Mu Yeol saves Jin Pyo by taking his bullets. He tells him to take care of his newborn baby. Jin Pyo gets out alive. He comes back to Korea and gives Mr Choi a letter that says, He will avenge the 20 lives of the nation.
Jin Pyo takes the newborn baby and leaves a message to Ms Kyung telling, He will take care of her baby and She should start a new life.
Jin Pyo gives the name Lee Yoon Sung aka Poo Chai to the baby and takes him to Southern Asia.
After 20 years... Poo Chai is trained at brought up as an elite soldier by Jin Pyo. He is taught by the best martial artist and assassins. One day, A group of gangsters attack Poo Chai. Poo Chai gets distracted and steps on a Land Mine. Jin Pyo saves him by sacrificing his Leg. He tells Poo Chai about his Real Father and how they were betrayed by their own country. Jin Pyo warns Lee Yoon Sung to never fall in love and never reveal his identity.
After 3 years, he gets into MIT and Takes the identity of Lee Yoon Sung, Korean American from Texas.
After Graduating from MIT as an IT engineer, Lee Yoon Sung gets into Blue House, National Security Services.
He comes to know about Kim Nana, the Girl mentioned by his Uncle. Kim Nana also gets a Job as Bodyguard in Blue House.
Lee Yoon sung is given billions of dollars by Jin Pyo to execute his plan and hide his identity. Lee Kyung wan, one of the Five is now a Political Leader and Mr Choi is the President of South Korea. The Other members are unknown and Lee Yoon Sung has to find their identity. Lee Yoon Sung captured corrupt Lee Kyung wan and Hands him over to the upcoming Prosecutor aka Police Officer Kim Young-Ju. People start to call, Lee Yoon Sung a City Hunter who hunts criminals.
Jin Pyo is unhappy about this and tells him to kill Lee Kyung Wan.
Lee Yoon Sung knows his mother is alive but Jin Pyo told him, She abandoned him and He should never meet her. But, the reality is different.
Lee Yoon Sung meets his mother and at the same time ... Jin Pyo comes to South Korea.
He warns him as he thinks Lee Yoon Sung is distracted from his goal and He needs to take over this mission.
He tells him, Whoever capture the 5 targets first will do what they want to do with them. Lee Yoon Sung wants them to live and suffer for their deeds, whereas Jin Pyo wants them dead.

With about 16 episodes... City Hunter Kdrama is one of the Best Kdramas, You will ever see. It has a remarkable storyline and memorable scenes.
I would highly recommend watching it once.
