Well , Not to go deep in this topic , what it means.. But let's just say .. slice of life should have some other name to describe itslef...
And For your kind information , Cupid's Chocolate is Chinese Anime and Not dubbed in English or Japanese ... So , many viewers may feel somewhat unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the "Xing Xong" Things ...But you can still watch it English subtitles.
Jiang Hoayi , a 19 years old highschool student. (Like every other mc of slice of life anime ) He is single and Lonely. It's not like he has no friends , But Jiang himself doesn't want to get involved with anyone and ruin his life.
He wants to be alone and enjoy his life.
On the sunny day , While walking On the Terrace of Highschool building, He sees a Chocolate cake. The Chocolate Cake was fresh but there was no one besides him on the terrace, So he shares the Cake with a club members.
This is where our story begins ...
The next day , Xia Zi Tong , The most beautiful and Highschool queen declares her love for Jiang and Also tells everyone that She is pregnant with his Baby !!
Ling Yuan tells everyone that She has kids and Her husband is Jiang Hoayi. .. and Highschool best Sports athlete girl Tang Xuan calls him as her Boyfriend !!
Yeah , It's all true and Not any Dream..
The Whole Highschool gets mad for stealing their dream girls and cheating on them at the same time ... They chased him all over the place and finally on the terrace, they corner him at the end.
Jiang Hoayi announces , He didn't even know these girls and don't have any kind of relationship with them . But , Everyone thinks he is bluffing and trying to cheat once again... They try to catch him .. But Jiang Jumps from the terrace to prove his innocence and giving his life !! Finally at peace after so much chaos...

As he is falling , all of a sudden emerging stops and he gently reaches the Ground... A Beautiful Young Goddess appears. The Goddess of Love , Mei Tata.
She tells her the Reason behind all the chaos is the Cake he shared with them. The cake he shared was no ordinary cake but the Cupid's Chocolate Cake !!
If a boy shares the cake with a girl , she will have love memories with the boy.
In Jiang's case however , He shared teh cake with 7 girls from A club ... And so those girls are having his love memories.
But Jiang gets confused by the fact that he has no such memories and his life becomes more complicated ...He asks for the solution for Mei Tata rather than enjoying his life with those girls .. (Such a great guy, Jiang)
The solution is to Fulfill their one wish !
That wish can be anything , but once the wish is completed , Their fake love memories will vanish.
And This gives Jiang an opportunity to get out from the mess ..
But but but ,
By fulfilling their wish , The girls lose their fake memories , But their real memories of making love with Jiang and Having their problems solved by him still remains. This makes them Fall for Jiang even more and things get complicated again !!
The girls are not from ordinary families in anyway. Some have rich and royal families and some have assassin type dangerous backgrounds. It's not an easy job to fulfill their wishes, when he has to deal with this families first.

The Story gets more and more amazing and meaningful as it progress . It is one of the best in Romance Comedy genre.
The animation is good and even the music is very smoothing ...You will love it.
With about 15 episodes in season 1 , Cupid's Chocolate is good slice of life anime with quite satisfying everything .. It's a combination of Date-a-live and Highschool DXD ... Good Fights and Cute Girls, A common but good entertainment.
