If you ever have watched Anime in your life and You are still asking this question that means , You never enjoyed it or you watched the wrong Anime.
The question is not why you should Watch Anime over Movies ,TV Series, The real Question is Should you really Watch Animes ?
If you want to watch Animes just watch it ...If you want to watch Movie Series ..It's Fine ..Go watch Movies or Series.
But , If you are asking, which one is Better Movies or Animes ? That's Very Easy...
--> ANIMES , everytime and all the time till eternity are wayyyyy better than any movie in the universe .
Nothing beats Anime Stories, Action , Music and Vision of imagination. It's super - super Amazing Feeling and you cannot find it anywhere. Animes are much more informative and vast knowledge boxes than any movies and Serials you will ever watch .
If you take Best Movie Series like Harry Potter and Marvel or GOT vs One piece and Naruto ....Any anime fan will say That's Cheating. Because Naruto and One-piece have long history of 20 Years and They are Best in every way than these Movies and Series. Onepiece has a huge world building and characters than any other Movie or series. It has more number of Super heroes and super villains characters than all the MCU and DC universe Combined. (THE DEVIL FRUIT EATERS) .
Naruto has the best and most motivational story than any other movie. The charcters and their history is so well explained and linked to each other. The music of Naruto is recognized as 'Best Music of All Time' .. It takes a God Anime to get this Awards. These animes teach the way of Living , The Lesson of Never giving up and Having Friends is the most important thing in life. It teaches the Power behind the word Family . Well , These are song animes ... But ,Short animes may have differences though as not all the movies are best movies. Right.
So, It's all up to your personal reasoning and Interest to watch Anime or Movies. You can watch Dr.Stone or Death note or Lelouch of the rebellion which gives tons of real life and Magical strategic planning and scientific reasoning to everything.
Movies however , give a Realistic and Very Relatable Environment Experience while we watch them. Because of they are not animation , We can say ,it is practically possible and we enjoy them to the fullest.
Anime are Japanese Animations and Cannot be realistic. (Some of the cases like Wearing with you and Silent Voice are exceptions ,They are sooo.. realistic)
Many Animes are imaginary and fantasy stories so we cannot relate to them but the Emotional Scenes and The Stories of our Dreams and the Music is better than any movie you will ever watch. The Characters and World of Animes is much more memorable and Immersive that People can't easily forget about the Anime World and it's Characters. While Movies ,We forget the other characters easily. In the whole ,
Animes are longer than movies or series and share more time with viewers and that is the reason they get attached to their hearts and seems having a better time than watching Movies which will only last for 2 to 3 hours .
