Our Protagonist is Sung Jiho, A highschool student. He is the Rank No.1 in the RPG game 'One Sword' . Sung Jiho, maintained his Rank No.1 for all the years when one sword was popular.
however, The Game was very low quality. It was one of the hardest games available... and thus only 302 players kept playing the game.
Sung Jiho was just in Elementary School when he started playing One Sword. One sword was the only game he could play on his Old PC. His family could never afford a High Specs PC for him. But, Still using his talent, skills and deep understanding of gaming mechanics of One Sword, He could tell the next move of his opponent just by listening to the music effects (which is called Sound Play).
After the years....
Eventually, The Game servers were taken down due to lack of players and sold to other company.
The One Sword Company Representative Theodore sent Sung Jiho a gift for being impeccable and Rank 1 for all those years.
Two years later,
The Gaming industry is on the rise and people are really interested in Esports Gaming tournaments.
Sung Jiho has never played any other since 'One Sword' was closed. Just because, His PC can't support the increased high quality graphic of games. He is going to his new highschool, Dano high. He sees a Poster of Esports Club.
The Gaming Club was a newly introduced in the Dano High.

The girl played smoothly cutting all her opponents and using abilities of her character. The Game she was playing was 'Swordus'.
Sung Jiho asks Jinyong about Swordus and Swordus was recently popularized High Level RPG which was getting attention because of its Sword Plays and Fighting mechanics. Jinyong played it many times, So he knew all about Swordus.
The Games consisted of Characters with their own special strength and weaknesses.
The Attacker, Tank, Healer and Utility.
As You level up... You get access to new characters and their powerful abilities.
Sung Jiho asks for a match against him.
He chooses a utility character with speed named "Speerrow" (Yup that was his ID in One Sword).
When Sung Jiho takes on the control, He defeats Jinyong in just 2 moves.... The moment, the speed, the abilities, the timing, everything was the same!! It was the same game he used to play!!
It was back!!
Swordus was One Sword, with just better graphics.
Sung Jiho was overjoyed as he finishes the game and everything was just as before.
He declares to Jinyong that 'He will become the No.1 Ranker in Swordus'.
The Girl who was playing nearby was President of the newly established Esports Club. Due to number of applicants applying for the club she made a little change in poster , which said only the one's who defeat the president will be allowed to join.
Despite being the smartest in games, Sung Jiho is not so smart in studies. He lacks grades so he gets caught up in extra lecture and games last for the applicant test.
President was waiting for him as She knew his skills. The match Started and Sung Jiho choose Utility Character Spiro ( Speerrow). Everyone was under assumption that He will lose playing a weak character but Seeing his movements and abilities everyone saw the true power of Speerrow character.
In the middle of the match, His Screen gets cut off and Sung Jiho can only hear the sound effects.... Using his instinct of one sword, He keeps playing
But, Loses to the Special attack from president. He lost the match, but the real gamers and spectators knew Who would have won if Sung Jiho could have known the abilities of the opponent character.
After watching Sung Jiho, Changhyun the vice president of Esports Club, came to one conclusion... Sung Jiho is the No.1 Ranker of One Sword.
However, The President rejected Sung Jiho from joining the Club. Since he lost the game.
Only 6 people were selected in the Esports Club. But, The Teachers took three of the students dragging as they were in their first year of school and did not pay attention in class.
The Club needed 2 members to join again, But no one joined because of President's harassment during the test.
Sung Jiho comes over again and ask for a rematch. He makes a bet that, If he wins, They will also take Jinyong in their team.
The President Accepts it. Sung Jiho plays the rematch and shows his skills again but time defeats the President. The president is later reminded about the screen black out incident during the game and the reason why Jiho lost.
The President wants to become a Pro Gamer in Swordus and She also has Grandmaster level skills. To do that, She needs a powerful team. Swordus is a game of teamwork where all the team members battle together for the win.
The other teammates who joined are also skilled and have lot of experience in Swordus.
However, They don't know the real identity of Jiho. Jiho was One Sword Rank 1, when he was just in Elementary School. Not to mention, Swordus is exactly the same game as One Sword. Sung Jiho has written all his techniques and game plays. He has written book of all the techniques he used in one sword. He gives the books to Jinyong to study and get better at Swordus.
Changhyun never plays in actual team, But helps in arranging friendly matches for the club. The Sowrdus tournament is about to take place in a month. The team needs to defeat at least 4 registered teams to enter the tournament.
With Sung Jiho skills and knowledge they immediately gained recognition and winning matches.
But again, They face their biggest problem.
The Game is in 3D and has new maps like Space and Mountain maps. While moving at high speed, Jiho gets motion sickness and can't play for longer durations.
The Other One sword rankers immediately recognized Jiho's play and knew he was back again.
One sword Rank-3 and Current Swordus Rank-1, Lee Jin-A comes to invite him to her own team.
There is one more fact that Sung Jiho realizes while playing the game...
His previous ID: Speerrow was converted into a Special Utility Character named Spiro with the same stats he used to set. Also , The Other Game Characters where once written and set by him and while playing the game One Sword.
Swordus was game he wanted to create all along and the game was specially made for him.

The Story is all about Gamers who wants to make their career in gaming while playing Swordus. It's like watching Pokemon with combination of Sword Art Online and My Hero academia. You will realize, what I mean while reading it.
The animation and artstyle is great and has many scenes which gives a wholesome experience of playing a game.... It's very cartoonish but still packs a great deal. It is very unique in one way.
The Gameplays and battle scenes with special attacks and psychological thinking while playing and using teamwork are awesome. But, it deep inside it feels our mc is pretty overpowered since He was a former Rank 1 who started from the bottom.
But, There are also so many matches and so many mysteries to be discovered and explored. I guess, It will be long journey like always...
With around 52+ chapters, Double Click is a great 'gaming' manhwa and a good time read. You will definitely like it.
