The main protagonist here is General Kim Shin the military general from the Goryeo Dynasty.
After winning a great battle against the invincible enemies and saving the Kingdom . Kim Shin returns to Capital with all his army. All the Village men and women welcome the Winning General and Saviour of their Lives with lots of applause and honour.
But ,At the gate of the Kings Castle ,Kim Shin is stopped by the Council Guards and Reffered as a Criminal and Ordered to be on his knees. Angered by Council men's insolence, Kim Shin draws his sword and Steps Ahead .
Right at his step , Archers aiming at his fellow soldiers ,Fires at them . And many Soldiers Die at the moment unarmed.
At the Kings Command ,The Royal Castle Gates are opened and Kim Shin is let in ...

The Fact that Kim Shin is Referred as People's King and Even called A God.
Kim Shin's endless Ascension of Power is making citizens Happy and Rise up to their feet , His Power's and Performance in battles make a mockery of Royal Guards and History of Royal Family.

As Kim Shin is framed as a traitor as Kneels and Gives his Trusted Soldier an Order . An Order to Kill him with his own Sword. With an heavy heart , The Solider Kneels beside Kim shin and Puts the Sword right through his Chest .
Years after his death, when a Pure Soul and Subject of Kim Shin offers his Thanks and Service for the Blade that remained Stained by Blood .
Kim Shin is cursed by the God to be immortal forever and endure the pain of seeing his loved ones die as the punishment for the killings he had committed in the wars as they also were humans and his subjects . He will see all his loved ones die and Not a single of death will be wiped from this memory.
The Blade that resides in his chest will only be removed by Goblin's Bride and Only them he will be able to return into nothingness and rest in peace .
Hence , Kim shin becomes an immortal goblin. He is helping people with his powers as a Goblin and also as his salvation .
A Grim Reaper (A God of Death ) named ... also happen to live in Korea and has a duty to help the dead humans and guide them to afterlife .
Duk Hwa is a grandson of a family which takes care of Kim Shin identity for over centuries .

When Duk hwa question who is he , Goblin amswers " I am your Uncle ,your Brother ,Your Son and Someday hopefully your grandson " , as he is an immortal ) .
The only way to put an end to his immortality is the Goblin's bride, whose is the key for pulling out the sword Pierced into his chest by the king and eventually kill him .
Ji Eun-Tak is a Happily smiling high school student who remains cheerful and hopeful despite her tragic life.
Since her birth ,Eun tak has a ability to see and talk with spirits. After her mother death on her birthday ,The Spirits are her only family and friends.

In my opinion, Goblin was my first Korean Drama and Best i have ever seen till date ..
The Music ,Story ,The Comedy , The super natural powers and the emotions flowing in every second of the 16 episodes is extremely , extremely beautiful . It really gives you chills and Cries all the way ...You will literally cry watching the very first Episode ,I guarantee you .
